Do you know that too?
You feel like you’ve tried everything – creams, home remedies, even regular pedicures – and yet your feet remain dry, cracked and sometimes even painful. This has been a tiresome issue for me for years. Especially in summer, when open-toed shoes are in season, it was not only unpleasant but also a real frustration factor. I had almost resigned myself to the fact that my feet were just “like that”. Even my beautician, who regularly treats my feet, just shrugged her shoulders at some point.
But then came this one moment – quite unspectacular – but it changed everything.
I had tried a new incense stick, originally for a completely different topic. And I really didn’t expect what happened next: Within a few days, my skin changed noticeably. The dry, brittle skin became softer, smoother and, above all, the deep cracks finally healed. What I only understood later: Frankincense has cell-regenerating and skin-soothing properties that not only provide support on an emotional level, but can also work wonders locally on the skin.
And if you don’t have a stick to hand – there are other ways in which you can benefit from the advantages of incense:
Frankincense essential oil:
– apply directly to the affected areas with a little carrier oil (such as coconut or jojoba).
DIY foot care with frankincense and lavender:
– stir a few drops into a rich, unscented cream or shea butter.
A relaxing foot bath with essential oils:
– 2 drops of frankincense + 2 drops of tea tree oil + 1 teaspoon of baking soda in warm water – soothes, nourishes and relaxes.
Today I can honestly say:
I would never have thought that frankincense, of all things, would be the missing piece of the puzzle. I now laugh at my overflowing foot cream drawer – because none has ever helped like this simple, natural solution.
